Transcribed and arranged for two guitars by Mark Viggiani
Score and parts
Series Phoenix TMV 016
These three chorale preludes, originally for organ, give guitarists a chance to engage with some of Bach’s loveliest and most sophisticated polyphonic writing. Each guitar part generally handles two of the four musical lines, making for extremely satisfying and comfortably playable stand-alone parts which mesh together into a rich and complex contrapuntal structure.
